Author Guidelines

Jurnal Ilmiah Sinus is published twice a year. Articles  published in this journal are the results of empirical research in technology Information, good research quantitatively and qualitatively.

Editors invite experts, practitioners and enthusiasts in technology information to write a research article in this journal. Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals. All submitted papers are subject to review of the editors, editorial board, and blind reviewers. Submissions that violate our guidelines on formatting or length will be rejected without review.

 Articles typed in Times New Roman  with 1.5 spacing in Microsoft Word format with a page size A4 (210 x 297 mm). The length of the article about 8-10 pages, including pictures, graphs, and tables (if any). Articles written in Bahasa Indonesia.

 The article has been formatted according to the pattern of writing scientific journal articles.

Particular instructions

 1.   Manuscript of field research, literature research, observation or opinion on a problem that arise in connection with the development of computer technology.

2. The manuscript is written in Indonesian with a digest in English. The manuscript is not more than 250 words with 3-5 key words. Manuscript of original typewriting or recording in computer discs, ranging from 6 to 10 pages type quarto one space.

3. The title is cultivated quite informative and not too long. Titles that are too long should be broken into headlines and titles.

4.   Name (names) of the author (without title) and address or agency where the work is written complete and clear. The author's principal name is underlined for page head writing.

5.   Systematic writing is arranged in the following order:

a) Title, author's name, institution

b) digest and keywords (in English)

c) Systematics:(1) Introduction containing the background of the problem, the formulation of the problem and the purpose (2) Literature Review, (2) Research Methods, (3) Results and Discussion, (4) Conclusion and Suggestion.

d) References

6. Tables and drawings should be titled as well as clear details.

7. The bibliography is written in alphabetical order chronologically:

a) For Books: author's principal and initials, year of publication, title, volume, edition, name of publisher, place of publication.

b) For essays in the book: author's principal and initials, year, title, initials and name of editor: title of book, start and end page (essay), name of publisher, place of publication.

c) For articles in magazines or journals: author's principal and initials, year, title, magazine name, volume (volume), start and end page.

d) For essays in meetings: author's principal and initials, year, title, name of meeting (organizer), time, place of meeting.

e) For internet: specify the URL address

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

With the payment of this fee, the review, editorial decision, and author notification on this manuscript is guaranteed to take place within 4 weeks.

Article Publication: 200000.00 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
